Blooming Lace Shawl - Yarn Combos


The beautiful Blooming Lace Shawl designed by Pamela Kuloba, @pamscozycorner1 , and available in Issue 2 of Radicle Threads, is a crochet lace shawl that calls for fingering weight yarn in three colors:

  • Main color: 783 yards
  • Contrast color 1: 463 yards
  • Contrast color 2: 79 yards

Both Keepsake and Kaleidoscope would work well for this pattern, both having beautiful drape and rich colors!

Please note, since the the pattern calls for 463 yards of CC1, but Keepsake is 394 yards and Kaleidoscope is 437 yards, you can modify the pattern slightly by substituting a section of alternating MC & CC1 with a section of CC2 in order to only have to use one skein of CC1.
